Who is eligible for the extra benefits OptusNet offers for businesses?

Any business member with an Australian Business Number is eligible for these extra benefits. The extra benefits are provided to members who have their Business Name included in their OptusNet Account details. Check if you are an OptusNet Business member. To add your Business Name to your account details, call OptusNet Business Customer Service on 1300 300 951. Please note, members on Pre-Paid plans are not eligible for the extra business benefits.

How much more do I have to pay to get all these extra benefits?

OptusNet business members do not pay any extra to receive these benefits. They are included in our standard access pricing.

How can I take advantage of the free BusinessName Email Service?

Firstly, ensure that you're classified as an OptusNet business member. You can check this at business.optusnet.com.au/bizcheck. Then simply go online to business.optusnet.com.au/domain to set up your BusinessName email.

What is the difference between BusinessName Email and BusinessDomain Email?
  • BusinessName Email is the FREE service that you get with our OptusNet Dialup accounts and you can have email addresses similar to sales@yourbiz.optusnetbiz.com.
  • BusinessDomain Email is the service you can take up if you register or have already registered your own domain name. It gives you email addresses like sales@yourdomain.com.au.

How can I register a new domain name and get BusinessDomain Email?

If you are an existing OptusNet member, go to business.optusnet.com.au/domain, click Order a domain name and then follow the prompts to place your order. If you are not an existing OptusNet member, call OptusNet Business Sales on 1300 300 012 for assistance.

As a residential member, why can't I get BusinessName Email or BusinessDomain Email?

This offer is only available to OptusNet business members. Call OptusNet Business Customer Service on 1300 300 951 if you want to add your Business Name to your OptusNet Account details.

Do I have access to the Business Resources web site?

All members have access to this site. But some of the premium features can only be accessed by business members entering their login details.

Can OptusNet build a web site for me?

OptusNet provides business members with a free, licenced copy of EziWebsite Lite, a simple web site building software program that lets you build a 3 page website for your business. You'll find it on the Business Resource web page where you can download the file and build and manage your site yourself.
